Job Title: Java Developer
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Client: Capital One
Location: 23rd Floor (35012-2310) (Must be local and come into the hybrid working model in Chicago) and McLean, VA
LOB: Card Tech
Rate: 70/hr to 75/hr on W2
Interview Process- Zoom Video and 1 coding exercise.
Duration: 12 months
 
Required Experience:
AWS experience is required(Server less functionality, Lambda, ECS, AWS Fargate, cloud deployments).
Contractor will be doing enhancements to existing systems.
Contributing to adding the enhancements and maintaining the services.
Should be able to support the database and deployment on cloud, able to deploy and maintain applications in cloud.
Heavy on Backend vs Frontend (75/25).
Backend -Java & Spring
Front End can be React or Angular.
Blend of Support and development (40/60).
Exp in Golang or Python is a must.
Should be able to handle code design and optimization.
 
AWS certification is a plus.
