Apartment Maintenance Supervisor
Duties:
- Oversee manage and perform maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate and schedule and perform maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Supervise contractors, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, property and apartments to identify and complete maintenance needs
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service requests, equipment logs, and inventory
Skills:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to help motivate and guide a team
- Excellent management skills to plan, organize, and execute maintenance effectively
- Proficient in Plumbing, HVAC, wall repair and low voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of repair/preventative techniques for equipment and appliances
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with residents, owners, team members, contractors and outside agencies.
