Apartment Maintenance Position

We are currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Position to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

Responsibilities:

** YOU MUST UNDERSTAND PLUMBING WELL AND BE COMPENTENTLY SKILLED **

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Repair/replace the many aspects of apartment units
• General knowledge of minor building maintenance; plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and drywall repair
• Ability to consistently complete turnovers by specified deadlines
• Valid drivers license and current auto insurance
• Work efficiently
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Coordinating work with sub-contractors
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Understand how to correctly perform many of the common apartment repairs
• Have reliable transportation with ability to carry cargo
• Honest and trustworthy
• Strong work ethic

Must know how to complete most repairs correctly. We are looking for a competent, hard working person who will show up on time, work quickly and do things the right way.

Plumbing knowledge a big need for us!! You must have a solid understanding of plumbing repairs.

Portland Metro Area at times but mainly Beaverton, Aloha and Woodburn.
