Min 3 years experience performing maintenance on turboprop and/or EMB-120
Advanced troubleshooting a plus

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
An A&P mechanic inspects, services and repairs airplanes to ensure they're operating correctly and safely. A mechanic is responsible for ensuring that airplanes get regular maintenance and that any problems are fixed correctly. Mechanics may work on different parts of an aircraft, such as the engine, landing gear, brakes and pumps and other aircraft components. May repair and/or modify aircraft structures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Completes aircraft and engine maintenance as required or needed.
• Follows established and normal aviation safety procedures and processes.
• Maintains complete and accurate maintenance records.
• Conducts scheduled inspections and completes follow-up as required.
• Inspects engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, air-conditioning systems and other aircraft
related systems.
• Complete necessary maintenance and repairs (replacements) on the aircraft, its subsystems, and components.
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
• Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
• Problem Solving/Analysis.
• Meet experience requirements on airframes or powerplants.
• Strong mechanical ability and skills.
• An aptitude for working with complex equipment and understanding technology is also necessary.
• Computer literate and understanding of electronics.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Talk and hear regularly.
• Sitting is required.
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and/or balancing all day.
• Use fingers and hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Work in hangars, on the flight line, or in repair shops utilizing hand, power tools, test equipment, ladders, and scaffolds.
• Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions enduring high noise levels when making emergency repairs.
