Form of workAs an Analytics Software Engineer at PopCap you will be responsible for the design and implementation of software to track and analyze metrics and data associated with a live social game played by millions of users.
Responsibilities:
- Help design and implement metrics and Analytics Software in either PHP or Java or both
- Work closely with an analytics expert to establish criteria, requirements and goals for the software
- Work closely with the engineering team to establish best practices and make architecture decisions
Required Skills/Personal Requirements:
- 4 years industry experience with object oriented code development
- Familiar with design patterns and like to design clean, re-usable code
- Able to quickly learn any new language or technology
- Have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Strong interest in social games
- Friendly, easy-going and able to work closely with a team
Education and/or Certifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Physics and/or related field, or equivalent experience
