Seeking 1 Analytical Process Engineer
Onsite in St. Louis, MO
Description:
Will design and implement experiments related to Analytical benchtop equipment, SUT cell culture systems, Automation application to cell culture/ upstream and purification/ downstream control and data trending under the supervision of a Senior Scientist; Will work with technical support and manufacturing to create and/or modify methods and procedures to ensure that appropriate processes and/or products are developed, tests are conducted and that products, materials, and manufacturing equipment meet required standards; Will leverage experience and expertise to solve complex problems with regards to Process Analytical Technology development to support product launches into clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical operations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Need strong cell culture experience as our employee will participate in evaluations and development of SUT cell culture equipment / processes to support the production and manufacturing of recombinant proteins (including mAbs) under varying levels of direction (including cell culture scaleup, media development, harvest / recovery process development, process range finding, and statistical analysis of data. Will support SUT bioreactor process development, and SUT cell culture clarification for new product testing and implementation; Experience with downstream development is a big plus as our employee will participate in evaluations and development of PAT for purification equipment / processes to support the production and manufacturing of recombinant proteins (including mAbs) under varying levels of direction, including operation and scale-up of chromatography, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration (ultrafiltration/ diafiltration), and buffer preparation, process range finding, and statistical analysis of data; Digital experience with PAT software and other digital software including control systems, ELN, EBR, and data historians is a big plus
