As an Analytical Chemist, you will analyze and test under GMP raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, while applying validated or compendia methods. In this role, you will also release testing of products according to current compendia, regulatory, and corporate quality systems and principles.

Responsibilities:

• Performing and troubleshooting all lab-specific analytical methods
• Completing analysis of raw materials and finished products with an agreed-upon turnaround time
• Ensuring SOPs (LOP's and TM's) and specifications are up to date and in compliance with current Compendia and updating them if required
• Autonomous accomplishment of analysis in the laboratory
• Prepares standards, mobile phases, and reagents
• Maintains, calibrates, validates, monitors, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment (HPLC, ICP, IR, etc.)

You bring:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Scientific discipline preferred, or Associates degree with a combination of relative lab work experience required
• 5 - 12 years of experience in a lab of the Life Science Industry utilizing various instrumentation (HPLC, ICP, IR, etc.)
• Broad / General knowledge of quality control techniques and methods
• Broad understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• LIMS experience a plus
