Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver and a frontline employee, you are crucial to our achieving this goal.
Responsibilities
• Greets customers in a friendly a courteous manner.
• Delivers menu items to customers while safely maintaining specified delivery times and standards for delivery.
• Checks accuracy of each order prior to leaving the restaurant for the delivery.
• Transacts sales.
• Ensures that items are packaged properly.
• Places required marketing pieces in packages.
• Makes deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
• Obtains directions prior to leaving the restaurant
• Takes all safety precautions while delivering customer orders.
• Obeys all laws (including traffic laws and speed limits), policies and procedures while delivering customer orders.
• While operating a vehicle on work time, if you need to use your phone while driving, pull off the road to a safe location unless you have the correct hands-free equipment for the device that is in compliance with applicable state laws.
• If you need to program your mobile device’s GPS while operating a vehicle on work time, ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe location.
• Reports any customer incidents or complaints immediately.
• Alerts Store Manager and/or Manager on Duty if issues arise that need resolution • Maintains the cleanliness of vehicle.
• Is a team player.
• Assists the kitchen staff in performing duties, answering phone/taking orders, bussing tables, attending to the pick-up window, etc.
• Organize and take inventory of all delivery bags daily.
• Clean all delivery bags inside and out weekly.
• Creates a safe, friendly, comfortable workplace and dining experience.
• Strive to improve our business, the franchise system and our community.
Qualifications:
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Maintains a clean driving record.
• Maintain and provide current valid proof of at least $100,000 combined coverage insurance on vehicle.
• Participate and complete any required OSHA, state, local, corporate or company required trainings by any defined deadlines. Typically, these will take place on company time and if there is a cost will be at the Company’s expenses.
