What You’ll Do:
- Using laser fabric cutter, cut fabric samples & place in labeled vial for GC analysis. After analysis, use data to apply to perception models.
- Preparation of internal standards for GC analysis and routine chemistry techniques including weighing, pipetting, serial diluting.
- Loading of samples for GC analysis, selecting a sequence, and initiating analysis – to be handed off to P&G sponsor for any further technical assistance/downstream steps.
- Utilize Electronic Notebook System to capture work.
- Organize and maintain lab supplies for the collection system

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelors Degree in Hard Science (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology etc) preferred
- Analytical sample preparation experience (incl. sample prep, extraction per above; prep for GC, preferred)
- Comfortable learning instrument-based software.
- Understanding of electronic notebooking.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of Microsoft Office (incl. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams)
- Familiarity with GC-MS instrumentation, preferred
