Analytical Chemist

• Location: Grovecity, OH
• Pay: $26-$28/hr
• Hours: 8a-4:30p

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead in the preparation of analytical and customer samples in the analytical laboratory.
• Archive analytical samples.
• Measure samples using Leco gas analyzers.
• Measure samples using Spark Source Spectrometer.
• Measure samples on X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) equipment.
• Measure samples on Wet Density equipment.
• Measure particles in dissolved samples using a liquid particle analyzer.
• Measure surface roughness using an Interferometer.
• Measure resistivity using a four-point probe.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field, plus relevant work experience could be considered.
• 2+ experience as a laboratory technician preferred from the field particularly in a manufacturing lab setting
• Willing to work with acids, solvents, and compressed gases.
• Computer literate - must be comfortable using computers and able to learn new software packages.
