As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytical Chemist to join our team in Pewaukee, WI!
The Analytical Chemist is responsible for conducting product calibrations on chemical sensors and analytical equipment through theory, modeling, assembly, programming, testing and analysis. This role will also be responsible for managing research collaboration projects related to these products.
Typical Duties/Essential Job Functions:
· Design and run test protocols and setup test platforms to test chemical sensors and measurement equipment
· Create and perform proper design of experiments and measurements to calibrate chemometric and analytic models
· Manipulate software algorithms based on the analytic models for various applications
· Collaborate with engineers and technicians for product calibration, testing and release
· Maintain data integrity requirements and ensure proper documentation of processes, designs, measurements, results and analysis
· Manage research collaborations with universities and ensure timely progress on projects while providing reports to management
· Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
· Actively challenge existing processes to drive simplification and improvement
· Support the organization by performing cross-functional ad hoc assignments as requested
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent required
- Minimum two years of experience with chemometrics implementation and testing; calibration, validation, and maintenance of chemometric models
- Technical expertise in performing chemical experiments in industrial lab settings
- Working knowledge of relevant industrial standards applicable to the development of chemical sensors or relevant equipment
- Experience with new product development or introduction is preferred
- Experience working with Python or equivalent programing language
- Experience in multivariate statistics and modeling, including PCA, PCR, PLS, etc.
- Travel required, domestic and international (25%)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,000.00 - $79,250.00 per year
