Position Summary
The Trade Operations Analyst is responsible for new product set-up with Trading Partners to facilitate the indirect sale of ICU Medical products to our end customer. Trade Operations
Analyst is charged with maintaining distributor contracts within the Model N Contracting system and providing analytical support of distribution management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Handle incoming distributor product and Acquisition pricing inquiries and requests.
• Maintain records of Acquisition Pricing communicated to Trading Partners.
• Manage completion and submission of new product set-up forms: HDA, PIRFs, New Item Set-up forms.
• Implement and maintain distributor fee for service rebate program and Sourcing contracts within Model N.
• Draft Letters of Amendments (LOAs) to existing distribution agreements.
• Prepare financial models and analysis of Distributors' compensation.
• Provide data and/ or analytics to support Acquisition Price Changes, Floor Stock Adjustment valuations, distributor sales trending reports and distributor quarterly business reviews and scorecard discussions.
• Analyze contracts with Wholesaler Acquisition Cost (WAC) violations. Recommend corrective course of action to Trade Manager, Contract Analyst and Manager.
• Assist Sales and Sales Support during the onboarding process of Indirect customers.
• Maintain cross reference of Trading Partner's Master Product Data files to ICU Medical Oracle Items.
• Audit Trading Partners' Acquisition Pricing files annually and provide Price Change Notices.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and/ or Contract Admin departments to resolve pricing holds or invoice discrepancies.
• Provide support for process improvement, standardization, or strategic initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to gather, understand and evaluate information from various sources; establishes links between sources of data, draws logical conclusions and provides appropriate options, recommendations, and wise decisions in a timely manner
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong Communication skills. Ability to provide complete, concise, accurate information in verbal and written formats.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with minimal supervision to independently identify, research and resolve issues
Preferred
• Prior Model N and Oracle experience
• 2+ year(s) experience with data analytics
• 1+ years working in Medical industry
Education
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
Travel Requirements
• Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• This is largely a sedentary role.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
