Job Description
The Analyst, Data Reporting’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data management, supporting key deliverables including forecasts and accruals, maintaining program tools including savings calculators and operations documents, and providing support to the Lead, Data Analytics. This position supports the multi-family energy efficiency and electrification programs.
The Analyst, Data Reporting is a member of the Programs team and reports directly to the Lead, Data Analytics. This position is located in Chicago, IL and is currently remote.
Responsibilities- Generate weekly data reports on program metrics and operations
- Under supervision of the Lead, Data Analytics, conduct timely program performance reporting and create data-related deliverables due to clients including forecasting, accruals, and invoices.
- Conduct data analysis, run data queries and data validations, and troubleshoot for accurate reporting
- Oversee the quality of program data and implementation of quality assurance / quality control (QAQC) process to ensure accurate data is provided to external clients
- Interpret data results and communicate results to team members
- Assist with routine quality control of data and action data uploads to client databases
- Develop and monitor reports and dashboards for program performance
- Assist in adapting reporting capabilities based on program changes
- Collaborate with implementation team, data team, outreach and marketing teams to support reporting needs as directed by Lead, Data Analytics. Maintain expertise in data analysis and data management best practices.

- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- A Minimum of two (2+) years of work experience in the energy efficiency field or a similar field required, with primary responsibilities including experience with data analysis and database management, program metrics monitoring and reporting, program administration support or operations support, with preferred experience including financial reporting or invoicing
- Strong project management skills and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with high level of attention to detail
- Experience with quality control of program data and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with internal teams and external clients regarding data requests and reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Preferred experience with energy efficiency or electrification programs especially utility program implementation
- Preferred experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, Microsoft Office suite, query tools, database management similar to the eTrack platform, and Data Reporting and visualization tools like Tableau, Microsoft BI, or other

Compensation
The total compensation for this position includes health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), defined contribution benefit (401k with contribution), professional development, generous paid time off policies, and a flexible schedule. This is an exempt individual contributor position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000, based on experience.
