Job Description
Our esteemed partner in Honolulu, HI, is seeking a talented Driver/Dockworker to join their team. This pivotal role involves the timely pickup, labeling, loading, and delivery of shipments using required equipment, policies, and procedures. Driver/Dockworkers may operate a tractor-trailer unit to multiple customer locations and return to the original domicile during the same shift.
Responsibilities:
- Work flexible hours, including days, nights, and/or weekends.
- Possess a valid Class-A CDL license (commercial driver’s license) in the home state.
- Hold a HazMat endorsement.
- Successfully pass a road test, a DOT physical, including a drug screen, and all necessary background checks.
- Utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as pallet movers and stand-up forklifts, for loading/unloading palletized freight.
- Lift objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Adhere to appearance guidelines and wear the provided uniform.
Requirements
- Availability for flexible work hours.
- Valid Class-A CDL license with HazMat endorsement.
- Successful completion of a road test, DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks.
- Proficiency in using Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
