Job Overview:
· The individual in this role will directly report to the CFO and will support all Corporate Development efforts for the organization
· The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of corporate finance principles, possess strong financial modeling and presentation capabilities, and be comfortable prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to engage with C-level management
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Screen potential deals and manage due diligence processes, including liaising with internal resources and external advisors
· Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate potential opportunities
· Prepare investment memos, presentations, and proposals for senior management and key stakeholders
· Support negotiations of deal terms and the preparation of legal documentation
· Monitor and report on integration of acquisitions
· Develop an understanding of emerging trends and industry dynamics
· Enhance current Corporate Development processes
Finance:
· Develop and enhance financial models and planning processes to drive effective data analytics and provide recommendations that will enable quality performance management discussions and better decision-making
· Work with leadership to develop and maintain financial reporting consistent with business operations
· Coordinate the preparation and presentation of quarterly business reviews
· Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose
· Improvements to streamline the use of key business metrics
· Assist in the development, tracking and reporting of operational and financial
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of financial experience, ideally in Corporate Development, investment banking, or corporate finance
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience maintaining and building detailed financial models
- Persuasive communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to assess workload and plan accordingly to meet competing deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and own challenging tasks while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude
- Comfort building and leveraging internal and external relationships to achieve objectives
- Must have strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (formatting of presentations, creating exhibits, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting
