ABA Interventions, LLC is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Technician who is fluent in American Sign Language. You will be very influential and beneficial to our Deaf/Hard of Hearing clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Abide by a subset of the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts, as it relates to the practice of registered behavior technicians.
- Implement behavior and treatment plans written by and under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Maintain accurate session notes and data on target behaviors and goals.
- Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors, per the client's treatment plan.
- Attending and providing input at treatment team meetings.
- Implement communication programs to teach clients to communicate via AAC, PECS, verbal language, etc.
- Embed goals into play using the center's custom-built sensory play gym, playroom, and classroom.
- Attending center ran peer groups with clients.
- Maintain an elevated level of professionalism.

Qualifications
- 6 mos. – 1-year experience working with children required.
- Fluent in ASL required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 6 mos. - 1 year of special needs children preferred not required.
- Current RBT certification or willing to complete within 50 days of hire (paid training provided).
- ABA therapy experience preferred but not required.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Fun, energetic, patient, and kind.
- Enjoy working with children.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the building
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Must be able to assist clients who have physical difficulties.
- Must be able to kneel, sit, stand, crawl, push, and pull to assist throughout the day.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on programs and completing session notes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
