Summary:
The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Nurse Manager is a full-time, exempt position responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising the daily operations related to TCO's ASC patient care and employees, according to TCO'S policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives while meeting physician requirements.
Position Duties:
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic
- Works closely with administration, physicians, and HR to ensure staffing needs are met (e.g. hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation)
- Oversees Surgery Center departments to ensure compliance, standards of care, and confidentiality requirements are met
- Manages Surgery Center departments with a focus on improving quality of health care provided
- Works with administration on development and implementation of Surgery Center departments goals, policies, and procedures
- Compiles and analyzes data on patient outcomes, goal achievement, and performance indicators
- Assists in surgery as needed
- Assists in delivery of nursing care as needed
- Ensures that the surgery complies with AAAHC accreditation requirements
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education, Licenses and Qualifications:
Required:
- RN from an accredited school of nursing required, B.S.N./B.A./B.S. preferred
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a surgical center setting
- Minimum five (5) years professional nursing experience required
- Current and unrestricted RN license for the State of Washington
- Current ACLS, BLS, & PALS certificate
- Current immunization record
- Current HIV/AIDS training
