SUMMARY: The AM Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting with the coordination and delegation of the warehouse operations workload to the AM Shift Warehouse Team Members. The AM Warehouse Lead maintains an active presence on the warehouse floor throughout the entire shift to provide direct support to the associates and to ensure operational objectives are met efficiently and accurately.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with other Leads and Managers/Supervisors to prioritize the handling of the warehouse operations workload.
- Helps guide the Warehouse Team Members to meet the daily business demands through hands-on active leadership.
- Follows all appropriate policies, safety procedures, and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and standing forklift.
- May be called upon to assist in all areas of the warehouse including the freezer, cooler, dry, receiving, loading, yard work, and assist with cleanup.
- Operates industrial equipment in a safe manner and brings to Managers/Supervisor’s attention any unsafe conditions.
- Works until job is completed while maintaining acceptable production levels.
- Follows direction set by the AM Warehouse Manager
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Ability to operate a RF scan system to track pallet barcodes throughout the warehouse.
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
- Utilize computer system to receive incoming orders.
- Assist in employee shift start up meetings.
- Review reports with AM Warehouse Manager and act accordingly. Works with other leads, and supervisors to ensure accurate and clean inventory.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
- At least 1-year experience in a warehouse setting
Skills
- Ability to perform the duties of a selector, loader, mapper, receiver, and forklift operator.
- Comprehension of basic warehouse operations.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook and in the use of internet browser applications.
Certification, Licenses, Registrations
- Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification

- Workweek is typically Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Requires the ability to work in freezer, cooler and dry conditions for long periods of time.
- Sitting at workstation 5% to 15% of work time. Standing/walking bending, and reaching, and lifting 85% to 95% of work time. Additional time at workstation when filling in for AM Warehouse Manager
