What you do:

This is an opportunity for you to work in an entrepreneurial environment to help shape the future of a growing ETF business backed and supported by a large and financially stable insurance company.   

You will help orchestrate and implement a leading client service model and in delivering outcome based derivative ETF solutions (e.g. structured/ buffered outcomes).  You will be integral to working with ETF market participants including Market Makers, Authorized Participants, and Exchanges.  In the role, you will also work with clients to answer any of their questions about trading and structure of ETFs.

Important requirements include meaningful client servicing experience and a knowledge of ETF Capital Markets mechanics. 

You will be based in Minneapolis, MN and this is a hybrid role.  You will report to AIM VP – ETF Strategy.

ETF Capital Markets

·       Build connectivity and maintain relationships with liquidity providers such as market makers and trading desks

·       Establish relationships and act as a subject matter expert for derivatives based ETFs with partners in the ETF Capital Markets ecosystem, including authorized participants, market makers and exchanges

·       Create marketing content such as whitepapers, one-pagers, and blog posts on Capital Markets topics such as liquidity, trading ETFs, etc…

·       Conduct market surveillance by monitoring day-to-day market quality (volume, spreads, premium/discount) of derivatives based ETF products

·       Work with the Allianz sales team to expand ETF product distribution and adoption by providing support to our clients

·       Develop partnerships and strengthen cross-collaboration opportunities across internal divisions

·       Identify, develop, and grow important client relationships

·       Perform the daily management and support of the primary market creation & redemption activity

·       Perform analysis of ETF create/redeem baskets to maximize fund liquidity and secondary market pricing of AllianzIM ETFs

·       Manage relevant communication with the Street

·       Champion AllianzIM ETFs with important internal and external partners

What you bring:

·       Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to achieve AUM growth

·       Investment acumen and a understanding of product positioning in different distribution channels

·       Highly effective communicator with excellent writing, and presentation skills

·       Ability to articulate complex investment topics

·       Collaborative in diverse teams

·       Thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

·       ETF experience is preferred, experience with derivatives is a plus 

·       Institutional or retail client servicing experience is a plus

Experience and Education 

·       4+ Years of financial services experience; 2+ years of ETF industry experience preferably in the Capital Markets ecosystem

·       Strong knowledge base of the Capital Markets, ETF trading, and liquidity creation

·       BA/BS degree is required in Finance, Economics, or similar field
