Part time PREP / SUSHI CHEF wanted for fast-paced exciting atmosphere!

*Familiar with Japanese fish a bonus
*Maki & nigiri skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting fish, and other meal prep
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
- Follow the prep list created to plan duties
- Undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes
- Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly
- Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries
- Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed
- Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized
- Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers
- Takes out trash
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on skills and experience

- Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
