Airport Lounge Lead Supervisor
Hourly Rate: $30.00/hr
Job Overview:
As an Airport Lounge Lead Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of The Club lounge, opening in San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in customer service and hospitality, capable of supervising a team and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The Lead Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the activities of team members, resolving service issues, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with airline/airport passengers in a premier clubroom/bar environment.
- Coordinate and lead assigned team members in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to resolve service issues and meet customer needs.
- Monitor and manage the service environment, including the number of alcoholic beverages served.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain a thorough knowledge of regulatory agency requirements.
- Maintain Responsible Alcohol Management certification and/or Food Handlers/Managers Permit.
- Ensure a neat work environment, including cleaning and restocking service areas.
- Complete paperwork related to new hires, daily liquor usage/inventory/orders, and other administrative tasks.
- Perform administrative tasks as required
- Delegate tasks and provide coaching to all employees
- Assist with conducting new hire orientations and training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Five years of previous customer service or hospitality experience required.
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Email and Excel).
- Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age, as applicable by state law.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of general office/document administration.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and days off.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
Essential Job Functions:
- Cooperate effectively with diverse peers, customers, and management.
- Read, analyze, and complete compliance documents.
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications, including state liquor seller-server certification.
- Stand during the entire scheduled shift and handle the stress of a fast-paced work environment.
- Effectively communicate with customers and team members.
- Solve practical problems and address a variety of passenger/customer issues.
- Perform physical tasks, including bending, climbing, crouching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Follow safety, health, and liquor rules and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
- Maintain a favorable corporate and customer image through personal appearance and grooming.
- Pass and obtain a security background check and clearance to work in the airport environment.
- Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
