Airline Service Agent

No prior experience required, we will provide on the job training.

Work week: A person must be available to work weekdays and weekends. Schedule will vary week to week.

Schedules:

• Full-time – 40 hours per week
• Part-time – 4-hour shifts

Location: Bozeman International Airport -850 Gallatin Field Rd, Belgrade, MT 59714 /

Compensation:

• $21 per hour
• $500 per month attendance bonus (full-time)
• $300 per month attendance bonus (part-time)
• Both full and part-time positions eligible for medical, dental, vision, pet insurance & 401k with match and travel discounts.

Education / Certifications:

• Must have a HS Diploma or GED
• Must have a Driver’s License

Requirements:

• Candidates must be 18 years or older.
• Candidates must be able to prove they have a Driver’s License.
• Candidates must be willing to work the physical nature of this position (working outside / lifting heavy luggage)

Job Highlights: This person helps customers that are arriving at the airport and helps check-in passengers’ bags. You are loading bags onto the aircraft and doing minor maintenance on aircraft as needed (de-icing planes for example.) As well as helping passengers board flights. This person will be working in an environment where they will be working inside and working outside. No previous experience required; all employees are provided with on-the job training

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to speak & be understood in giving directions/information to passengers.
• Hear and respond to customers.
• Tolerate and answer repetitious questions from customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
• Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Ability to confront and question unauthorized personnel in secured areas and report their presence to authorities as necessary.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift to 70 pounds (31.9kg).
• Must be able to perform the following functions in variable weather conditions as well as environmental conditions, i.e., jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and jet engine noise.
• Twist, turn, stoop, bend, reach, and grip while checking baggage.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be willing to wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
• Personal appearance and grooming will present a favorable corporate image.
• Ability to judge distance.
