- Tyonek Services Group is providing full on-site / off-site maintenance flight/ Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20.
- Areas for support to be provided include aircraft maintenance, completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and management of customers rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft.
DUTIES
- This individual must have completed a military or vocational school and have seven (7) years' experience in Army helicopter rotor systems component repair. Must be able to read and follow drawings and blueprints.
- Additionally, must have 5 years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.
- The ability to use a variety of special tools required for removal and replacement of M/R, T/R, Stab, bearing, bushings and measuring, fitting, heating, cooling, of assemblies are required.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- HS diploma or equivalent
- An FAA Airframe license preferred.
- Must have completed a military or vocational school.
- 7 years' experience with aircraft Prop & Rotor systems maintenance or 4 years of verifiable RDT&E experience in structural system maintenance is required.
- Must have experience in corrosion control practices including removal and treatment.
- A previous holder of 15D MOS is preferred.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of military technical manuals.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
