What you'll do:
As an Aircraft Detailer, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, inventory, and appearance of aircraft, both inside and out. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all aircraft under our care are presented in a pristine and professional manner by ensuring that the highest standards of aircraft cleanliness and presentation are met for our customers. Your attention to detail and knowledge of aircraft detailing processes will contribute to the overall success of our FBO. Duties include:
- Wash, polish, and wax aircraft and/or customer vehicles.
- Thoroughly perform interior detailing such as cleaning carpet, upholstery and other interior surfaces.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks, such as emptying trash, replenishing supplies, and restocking inventory.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning products, tools, and equipment to achieve optimal results while maintaining the integrity of the aircraft surfaces.
- Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assist Line Service team with operations as needed.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be over 21 years of age to pass insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment (up to 50lbs.), and working in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to always adhere to them.
- Availability to work flexible hours such as early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
Salary Description
