Air Freight Dispatcher - Evening Shift

Our client is a dynamic trucking company specializing in airfreight services seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Airfreight Dispatcher. Responsibilities:

Dispatch Coordination: Learn to efficiently coordinate the movement of airfreight shipments to and from cargo terminals at LAX.
Work closely with carriers, drivers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of freight.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate shipment documentation. Learn to update and track shipments in the company's systems to ensure real-time visibility.

Communication: Develop effective communication skills to liaise with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal teams. Provide updates to clients on the status and location of their shipments.

Problem Resolution: Learn to identify and address potential issues related to shipments, including delays, rerouting, or missing documentation. Collaborate with team members to find efficient solutions to challenges that may arise.

Compliance and Regulations: Familiarize yourself with airfreight regulations and industry compliance standards.
Ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates with Supervisory experience encouraged to apply!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Eagerness to learn and a strong desire to build a career in airfreight logistics.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus!

Pay Range: 25 to 30 per hour Depending on Experience Level
