Job Title: Air Account Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Remote, USA (NY, NJ)
Salary Range: $18 to $24 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Using the GDS system Sabre to book flights
- Manage and coordinate air reservations for clients and groups, including booking flights, securing seat assignments, and processing payments
- Knowledgeable of block space, group air contracts, and publish airfares
- Issuing tickets
- Confirming air reservations
- Handling schedule changes
- Communicate with airlines and travel vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies in bookings
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in air travel regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in bookings
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency in air travel operations
- Sitting for long hours
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of previous experience in the travel industry or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with booking flights in GDS computer system, preferably Sabre and reservation software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
