Agile SME, Senior
Key Role:
Manages engineering support for all the processes and activities of agile engineering projects and software development. Applies leading edge principles, theories, and concepts and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues. Provides expert guidance and direction to Government, vendors, senior level technicians, and managers. Directs multiple contractor and sub-contractor teams through their tasks toward project completion. Develop skills in software systems, cyber tools engineering, and risk management while gaining experience in mission data transformation, and meeting data centricity objectives. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience with systems engineering life cycle
Experience with leading teams, client delivery, driving projects to completion, and facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders in both virtual and in-person environments
Experience with Agile methodology, requirements definition, Scrum, contract data requirements list creation, editing and delivery, system documentation, customer support, and Scrum practices, including point estimations, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
Ability to support missions through detailed, well-written, and government-accepted documentation and requirements traceability
Ability to identify and track risks and opportunities at a tactical and strategic level
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification, such as CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider-IS Certification such as, CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+,
or CND within 30 days of hire
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Cloud software development, requirements traceability, government contract data requirement, risk management processes or best practices, or software backend testing
Experience with supporting IC clients
Experience with DevSecOps
Knowledge of Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Visio graphic and flowchart design
Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework
Ability to deliver all documentation on-time through the contract data requirements list approval process, including a sense of teamwork and helping to bring the next level of value added to taskings
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
