We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead - Team Leadto direct and coordinate the delivery of customer friendly, engaging and functional digital experiences that seamlessly bridge the gap between our online and physical retail entities. As the Agile DeliveryTeam Lead you will be responsible for the performance of the team, career growth, and team culture for your cross-functional technology delivery team.

The Agile Delivery Lead - Team Lead will also facilitate in the development of product roadmaps and the delivery of products and services that holistically balance the needs of our customers and the business. This role promotes and supports the adoption of agile practices and is responsible for the execution of the Product Delivery Lifecycle, including requirements analysis/definition, resourcing, delivery estimation, progress and budget tracking, risk and issue management, and release planning.

 

A day in the life...

  • Lead and coach one or more Agile Delivery teams.
  • Advocate, support, and coach Agile ways of working.
  • Promote Agile principles to delivery teams and stakeholders and drive process improvements.
  • Coach team members and business leaders.
  • Promote and support best practices.
  • Remove impediments and distractions to optimise team performance.
  • Support agile team transformation and encourage teams to adopt agile values.
  • Change management.
  • Create and nurture a high performing team with a focus on continuous learning & improvement.
  • Manage and support people in the team.
  • Manage to the values of the organisation.
  • Ensure practices are followed including one on ones, brightness of future etc.
  • Manage the performance of individuals in the team.
  • Develop plans to support individual development and growth.
  • Remove impediments and distractions to optimise team performance.
  • Align team members to OKRs and goals.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and sizing, from high-level to detailed.
  • Partner with technical subject matter experts to ensure that architectural and software engineering best practices are incorporated into plans and estimates.
  • Present options (scope, budget, resourcing, time) to meet business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps and iteration plans.
  • Communicate progress and how delivery is tracking to plan.
  • Articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner and adjust the communication style to suit different audiences and contexts.
  • Listen to feedback and incorporate this into ways of working and change management plans.
  • Build strong relationships within the team and with key stakeholders.
  • Advocate thought leadership in Agile.

     

Who you are...

  • People management experience highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience leading delivery teams within an Agile software delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding and application of Lean an Agile principles and processes.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and
  • practices
  • Commercially minded with the ability to hit the ground running, and to build and maintain constructive working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent adaptive Team Leadership capabilities including the ability to foster productive team dynamics, engage and enable teams and coach for performance.
  • High level of integrity and professional accountability.
  • Ability to embrace change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues at once and strong prioritisation skills.
