Afterschool Childcare Provider

Fitness Fun & Games offers MSDE-licensed afterschool programs for students ages 4-14. Programs are located in Baltimore City schools in many areas of the city. Program hours are usually 2:00 - 6:30, M-F with some variations on starting and ending times and with the possibility of working less than 5 days a week.

Depending on your interests and talents, staff are responsible for planning and implementing activities such as sports, games, music, art, dance, drama, reading, science, language, fitness, nutrition, etc. Includes outdoor activities, homework time, snack and/or supper for children.

Applicants should be patient, responsible, have reliable transportation, and be able to commit to working at least 6 months to a year. Summer work hours may be available for school year staff.. Developing consistent relationships with children is important in our afterschool programs, so we need staff members that are dependable.

We prefer staffs that have experience working with children and/or coursework in child development and curriculum, but we support skill development with candidates who are motivated and willing to learn. FFG offers great experience for majors in child development, education, family studies, social work, psychology, physical education, etc., and may count for college credit as an internship, field experience, independent study, practicum or special topic. It is also a perfect part time job for retirees or stay at home moms. Your child may be able to participate. Salary based on experience and education.
