Martial Arts Camp / After School Counselor
(No Martial Arts Experience Necessary but Training is Available for Interested Candidates)
Duties:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational activities, including, arts and crafts, and games
- Assist in organizing and implementing daily schedules and routines
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Foster a positive camp environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a fun and engaging camp experience
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and behavior
Experience:
- Experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
- Ability to coach
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with students or youth in an educational or mentoring capacity
- Ability to do light data entry/ Software interaction a plus!
