Client 1: This client needs companionship only a few hours a day. If you enjoy meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and companionship, this is the client we will place you with.

Client 2: This client is higher risk for falling and needs someone to walk with them to the bathroom, to the dining room, and make sure when they walk outside they have someone by their side to keep them safe. This client is forgetful and needs a caregiver to remind them to take their medications. He/she also needs the caregiver to pull clothes out of the closet for them and if they need just a little extra help dressing, the caregiver can help. Meal preparation might be needed with this client.

Client 3: This client is unable to walk very well. He or she is in a wheelchair and needs to hold onto the caregiver's arm to get to his/her feet. He's unable to prepare meals and might not get a meal if the caregiver doesn't prepare one for him/her. This client wears protective undergarments in the event of an accident and may need assistance cleaning or wiping in the bathroom. He/she needs help into the shower, needs the caregiver to wash his/her back and possible her feet. She needs help drying, getting dressed and safely into their chair. Light housekeeping may be required, medication reminders, a little extra skill for this client who has additional medical problems.

The Caregiver or CNA Certified Nurse Assistant Day Shift position provides safety and security for our senior clients.

Responsibilities of the Caregiver or CNA

• The Caregiver or CNA should be prepared to provide safety monitoring of our clients while during the shift.
• The Caregiver or CNA may also need to provide meal preparation, medication reminders, protection from falls, (each client and their needs are different).
• Our experienced staff will make sure you know what to expect before arriving on the job and will provide extra training on the job if you need it.
• If you enjoy doing transportation, you may drive the client in your car or the client's car.
• Candidates must pass background checks, be drug free, and have reliable transportation as well as a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE and good driving record.

COVID

Each of our clients are vaccinated from COVID-19, so your safety will be considered. Not all Right at Home caregivers are vaccinated. Right at Home is looking for compassionate companions who have a desire to make a difference in someone's life.
