- Follow teacher instruction and guidance during lessons and activities.
- Assist in general supervision and behavior management of students.
- Demonstrate, model and positively reinforce desired behaviors.
- Interact with and encourage student participation during lessons and activities.
- Lead student activities and coach students’ social interactions during weekly facilitated game time.
- Accompany students on monthly community outings.
- Facilitate social interaction among students during monthly community outings.
- Present subject matter to students under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Lead class in case of teacher absence.
- Utilize basic behavioral strategies such as prompting, modeling, and video modeling during lessons.
- Take photos and videos of classroom activities in accordance with Social Motion guidelines.
- Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree or minimum of 2 years college hours.
- At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.
- 21 years or older.

- Knowledge of autism and similar cognitive challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
