StarMA Summer Camp and After School Program is now hiring a After School / camp manager who likes to do fitness activities. This program is a martial arts program with fitness based activities integrated in the program!

Competitive pay starts at $18/HR depending on your experience level.
Our After School schedule is:
- Monday 11:30am – 6:30pm
- Tuesday 11:30am – 6:30pm
- Wednesday 11:30am – 6:30pm
- Thursday 11:30am – 6:30pm
- Friday 11:30am – 6:30pm
Our summer camp schedule is:
- Monday7:30am – 6:30pm
- Tuesday7:30am – 6:30pm
- Wednesday7:30am – 6:30pm
- Thursday7:30am – 6:30pm
- Friday7:30am – 6:30pm
To qualify for our amazing team you must have the following:
- Clean Criminal History (Background check will be required)
- Good Driving Record
- 2 years experience driving a 15 passenger van
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with kids in an After School and/ or summer camp.
- Must have a Positive Attitude and enjoy working with awesome kids!
Responsible for implementation of service delivery systems related to the After School / camp program & activities.
- Works well with children; patient; energetic; can motivate and inspire kids
- Can present to and communicate with parents well
- Good leadership skills
- Organized and Detail-oriented
- Martial arts experience preferred
- CPR- and First Aid-certified
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement A+ / Camp / activities plan per time schedule.
- Enforce secure check in / out of the children from the A+/Camp program. Maintaining accurate rosters of A+/Camp program.
- Enforce activity room rules.
- Handle kids’ transition from class to activity room (changing time).
- Oversee quiet time (homework/reading).
- Organize kids’ activities in A+ Room.
- Communicate with parents; provide parental reports and feedback.
- Oversee assistant’s role.
Preferred candidates will have previous experience managing After School programs, summer camps, or child care facilities!
