As an AFSO Consultant, you will be essential to furthering our mission by providing comprehensive security oversight and guidance to our client companies. You will act as the primary AFSO for multiple organizations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and government regulations while safeguarding their assets. This role is client-facing, and a strong commitment to customer service and effective communication is essential.

This role's key areas of focus are:

  • Industrial Security Program Implementation.
  • Client Relationship Management.
  • Risk Management and Resolution.
  • Documentation and Compliance.

This role will:

  • Serve as the primary AFSO for client companies, implementing and maintaining the industrial security program.
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer security requirements, conducting facility inspections, program reviews, and participating in government interviews and inspections.
  • Produce documentation including reports, policy/procedure development, security designs, training materials, and assessments for client organizations.
  • Maintain data compliance in multiple NISS and DISS accounts and manage security program compliance for client companies.
  • Identify and manage risks, resolve security issues, and implement security processes to prevent unauthorized access for client organizations.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to client employees and subcontractors, recommend operational modifications, and manage security training programs.
  • Develop and implement OPSEC and Technology Control Plans, including training administration, for client companies.
  • Manage COMSEC account and associated duties in line with NSA guidelines for client organizations.

This role might be a good fit for you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of experience.
  • Current Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated success as an FSO or AFSO for 2+ years.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant security guidelines and systems (NISPOM, DISS, NISS, etc.).
  • Experience in clearance processing, security indoctrinations, incident inquiries, and report writing.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • FSO Program Management Certification and other related security training.

Salary Range
$53,600—$76,200 USD
