Job Description
Location: Civil Rights Bureau – Ames, Iowa
Shift Requirements: 40-hour weeks, some travel and overtime. Flexible schedule available. Telecommute available.
As an Affirmative Action Compliance Officer, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct in-depth desk audits and/or on-site audits as appropriate for applicants seeking Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) status and conducting in-depth audits on initial and renewal DBE certifications.
- Assist with coordinating Supportive Services for DBE contractors/consultants.
- Organizing data and logistics for the monthly DBE goal setting meetings
- Preparing semi-annual DBE reports to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
- Conduct Title VI and Contractor Compliance reviews
- Preparing monthly Iowa DOT Contractor Bid Award Summary report

Minimum Qualification Requirements
