SalaryAdvanced Dermatology, P.C. is seeking an experienced Aesthetician to join us in our Paramus, NJ location!
This opportunity is part time with the possibility to become full time in the future.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a variety of skincare and beauty services to clients, with a
focus on delivering excellent customer service and personalized treatments. The Aesthetician will have a passion
for skincare and beauty, possess in-depth knowledge of skincare products and treatments, and be dedicated to
helping clients achieve their skincare goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform skincare consultations to assess clients' needs and recommend suitable treatments and products.
- Administer a variety of skincare and beauty treatments, including facials, chemical peels,
- Provide personalized skincare recommendations and create tailored skincare plans for clients, considering
- Educate clients on proper skincare routines and recommend homecare products to maintain and enhance
- Community outreach to strum up business.
- Referral within the practice to providers and plastic surgeons to ensure a well-rounded client experience.
- Generate retail product sales.
- Take part and engage in location events.
- Collaborate ideas with the Aesthetic Director for website and social media skin care department exposure.
- Keep accurate and detailed client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and product
- Stay informed about the latest skincare trends, products, and techniques, and make recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room and work area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and
- Uphold high standards of customer service, professionalism, and ethical conduct at all times.

Requirements
- State licensure as a Licensed Aesthetician or Esthetician.
- License & Credentials up to date by state regulations.
- Proven experience working as an Aesthetician in a spa, salon, or skincare clinic.
- In-depth knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and treatments, as well as their effects on different
- Strong understanding of skin physiology, common skin conditions, and treatment modalities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professionalism and
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
