The Lifestyle Center in Ladue, MO is seeking a Lead Aesthetic Nurse to join an experienced team of Aestheticians. We are looking for someone with a passion for collaboration and helping the team and patients achieve their goals. Must have a love for the aesthetic industry, a willingness to learn and train, and an eagerness to build and grow with us!
This role is responsible for oversight over fellow Aestheticians and promoting a team environment. This position needs to ensure that all estheticians are competent in the equipment and processes. All Aestheticians need to create an elite experience through services and consultations. The Aestheticians fulfill the mission of the Center by developing a client base and delivering an elite experience through our services and products.
Responsibilities as the Lead:
- Be a Role Model for the Center
- Create a warm and welcoming experience for clients
- Work in collaboration with all other staff to ensure we’re fulfilling our mission and values
- Assist in establishing a culture of collaboration in the Center
- Ensure all estheticians are competent in the performances of consultations and services
- Ensure all estheticians are engaging in communication skills with clients and staff
- Coordinate on-going training for consultations and services
- Audit of weekly checklist of fellow estheticians
- Ensure all estheticians perform/aware of the following:
- Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their first appointment
- Ensure all informed consents and signatures are obtained
- Proper documentation of treatments
- Identify proper treatment and retail product recommendations.
- Reviewing prior product sales
- Maintenance of equipment as per SOPs
- Turnover and prep of rooms
- Giving direction to the front desk regarding what is being purchased and scheduling future appointments
- Taking proper B&A photos
- Seek Referrals and Reviews to promote the Center and their practice
Responsibilities as an Aesthetician:
- Providing skin care treatments
- Supporting Dermatologist/Plastic Surgeons in pre and post op exams
- Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule
- Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure
- Interviewing clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments
- Advising clients on skincare and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens
- Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests
- Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products
- Adhering to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment
Qualifications:
- Missouri Nursing or Esthetician License
- 3 or more years of experience with a proven track record of building a book of clients
- Excellent communication skills and follow-through
- Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus
- Experience in performing consultations, cross-promoting of services and skincare products, and the ability to close sales
- Hands-on experience in facials, peels, Dermaplane, and the use of cosmetic lasers and light-based therapy, micro-needling, and/or CoolSculpting Lasers
