We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aerospace Component Deburr Supervisor to lead our team of technicians in ensuring the highest quality standards in Aerospace Component Deburring operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deburring processes, excellent leadership qualities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
**Oversee and coordinate deburring operations for Aerospace Components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
**Provide guidance and training to deburr technicians on proper techniques, tool usage, and safety procedures.
**Monitor workflow and productivity levels, making adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency.
**Conduct regular inspections of deburring equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
**Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any issues related to component quality or blueprint specifications.
**Manage inventory of deburring supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.
**Prepare and maintain reports on production metrics, including output rates, quality levels, and equipment maintenance.
**Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among deburring staff.
**Lead by example in upholding safety protocols and promoting a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
**High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification preferred.
**Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Component Deburring, with demonstrated proficiency in deburring techniques and equipment operation.
**Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
**Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and mentor team members.
**Proven ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
**Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology preferred.
**Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
