Aerospace CNC Machinist
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Type of contract: Permanent
Salary: $65K per year
Field Services Technician, managing product testing, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance, able to read blueprints, and mechanic knowledge. Operation of CNC machines.
Responsibilities:
- Test products for functionality and quality
- Troubleshoot equipment and devices
- Assist in product assemblies
- Follow technical drawings and aid in equipment setup
- Create department manuals and checklists
- Communicate effectively with vendors
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering OR related field (DOE)
- Experience can replace the degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in English (other languages a plus)
- Knowledge of machine shop environment, technical drawings, CNC, lathe, and milling machines
Work Environment:
In a manufacturing setting with exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals; ear protection may be required in some areas. Physical Demands: Ability to lift to 50 pounds, occasional standing, walking, and manual dexterity required.
