Job Summary
The Advisory Consultant will contribute to creating PMO processes and expressing project business outcomes to the enterprise through high impact and simplistic means. The Advisory Consultant will help create project governance and decisioning templates and design lightweight project execution paths. Ultimately, this role will ensure lifecycle visibility for all assigned project engagements and how they align to the Strategic Operating Plan and deliver business value.The Advisory Consultant will advise functional project managers and business owners on best practices for project planning, execution set up, progress reporting, and risk mitigation. The Advisory Consultant will also ensure accurate resource plans are maintained for all assigned functional projects to provide visibility on projected resource utilization to inform resource allocation to enterprise programs and portfolio prioritization. Core Responsibilities
- Manages a portfolio of functional project advisory engagements.
- Understands project scope as defined by business requirements and business impacts.
- Participates in key planning milestones and acts as a guide for the project team from initiation through execution and completion.
- Advises functional leaders on Project Management and team formation best practices.
- Drives project plan development including key milestones and dependencies.
- Guides functional project leaders through the resource planning and management process.
- Collaborates with Project Managers and Business owners on generating periodic project health and status reports for all projects. Consults with the Strategic Governance, Value Delivery and Change Management Leads to deliver simple yet powerful enterprise-wide narratives about projects' value, status, urgency, and deliverables.
- Coordinates with other Advisory Services colleagues to ensure assigned portfolio insights are integrated to provide an enterprise-wide view of all functional projects.
- Maintains end-to-end visibility into key functional project portfolio attributes including project schedules, budgets, and resource demand.
- Contributes thought leadership on continuous improvement efforts to the Advisory Services functions and client-centric operating model.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program
- Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management, planning, budgeting, and resource.
- Proficient with various project management methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple project management advisory engagements.
- Ability to internalize Effectv strategy and business objectives and alignment with strategic programs and functional projects.
- Effective communicator and storyteller with the ability to develop and/or influence completion of quality deliverables and executive level communications materials.
- Effectively balances attention to detail and deliverable quality with speed and agility to ensure timely completion.
- Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint.
