Retail Warehouse Data Entry Specialist

*This position is located in the Retail Warehouse at 1 Creative Place Montrose Colorado 81401*
This is a FT seasonal position, averaging 20-40 hours per week (with some OT expected based on business needs).
The seasons are defined as Fall/ Winter: August - January, Spring / Summer: February - July.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Receive, organize and deliver retail/rental goods
• Work with other departments to manage inventory.
• Transfer data from POs into Inventory Management system accurately
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents
• Tag product with appropriate description and pricing
• Report and damaged product to the Warehouse Inventory Manager
• Transfer and track inventory and merchandise as it becomes available
• Prepare the shipping of product as needed.
• Know and enforce safety initiatives consistent with company guidelines.
• Supports Telluride Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
• Adheres to Telluride Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
• Promote, support and understand all activities and events occurring on or off mountain.
• Perform related tasks or special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two year minimum of retail or inventory
experience or related management experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small
group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar
graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized
situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of or ability to learn point of sale systems, inventory systems, basic accounting, familiar with Microsoft Office, internet
search engines.
Other Qualifications:
Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as basic computer knowledge:
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of retail terminology
• Great attention to detail
• Proven experience as Data Entry clerk
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware
• Understanding of databases
• Fast typing skills
• Ability to worked unsupervised
• Must be able to identify areas that may need improvement and have initiative to seek solutions.
• Must be a team player.
• Must manage time effectively to complete store deliveries
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime
Expected Pay Range $18.50 to $24. Individual compensation decisions are based on experience and variety of factors.
