Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Advisor IT Systems within our IT Finance PRA Tax & SCM based in Houston, TX.
- Provide solutions including how to leverage standard SAP S/4 HANA Finance & Supply Chain functionality
- Support S4 FICO/MM modules related issues and provide efficient solutions.
- Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives
- Provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned
- Working knowledge of configuration for FICO/MM is required
- Preferred knowledge on S/4 is a must including the new Finance structures
- Understand material master procedures, inventory, and warehouse management
- Provide support for day-to-day production issues
- Analyze customer requests and recommend, design, and create solutions
- Troubleshoot operational and application issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Multi-task between projects and applications and to manage multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines
- Strictly adhere to SOX and IT audit policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of SAP FICO/MM experience preferably ECC 6.0 and later.
- Experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Revenue Accounting (PRA).
- Must possess specific and in-depth skills, knowledge, and hands on experience with multiple facets of SAP S4/HANA FI, CO and MM Modules
- FI module components including General Ledger, Project Systems Fixed Assets & Account Payables experience.
- MM module components such as Material Master, Inventory and Warehouse Management Process
- Minimum 1 end to end SAP implementations experience in SAP S4 HANA FICO and 2 end to end implementation of SAP ECC FICO/MM.
- Should have Project and/or support experience utilizing and configuring the SAP FICO module with a heavy focus in General Ledger, P2P, Fixed Assets & Cost/Profit Center Accounting processes.
- Should have knowledge about ICR Ledger and Special Ledger configuration
- Ability to work on projects with minimal supervision, independently or as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team building, vendor, and customer relations skills
- Ability to provide production application support on existing applications when needed
- Must be highly detail/process-oriented with a strong focus on well-documented high-quality code
- Ability to work with end users and clients for scoping, testing, QA, and sign offs
- Integration across platforms and systems.
- Understanding of Oil & Gas / Energy Industry business processes.
- Understanding and experience on implementing SAP Fiori apps.
- End to end understanding of a typical business process and how all the functions and processes work together.
