Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is under supervision of a physician. This position serve as a primary care provider by providing medical services to patients, collect and document data, order and interpret laboratory and radiological imaging studies, professional consultations and provide direct patient care services

Education and/or Experience:
Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursingor Physician Assistant from a program licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Responsibilities:
- Assesses the health status, illness conditions, response to illness and health risks of patients
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to diagnose medical and surgical problems
- Prescribes necessary treatment and services for quality patient care
- Takes patient histories, conducts physical exams and focuses on health promotion and disease prevention
- Maintains timely documentation of the patient history and physical examination
- Leads and assists staff in awareness and understand of Quality Measures and works collaboratively to continually improve patients outcomes
- Collaborates with the physician in the assigned practice setting, nursing, support staff, and other members of the health team
- Maintains recognized Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant Standards of Practice and follows approved scope of practice
- Displays strong clinical skills as well as excellent interpersonal relationship shills in interpreting and communicating health care information to the patient and family
- Assists in covering other DRH clinics when other providers are on leave
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications' establishing personal networks' participating in professional societies
- Apply DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years registered nurse clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred
- 1 year experience as a CNS or NP preferred
Education and/or Experience:
Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursingor Physician Assistant from a program licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Active License in Oklahoma or ability to acquire one
- Current Healthcare provider BLS certification required
