CDSS is seeking two Analysts to join our Adult Programs Division. hose excited to work on engaging and evolving assignments, to solve complex and ambiguous problems, and engage in continual learning on the job, are encouraged to apply. We are looking for strong collaborators and strategic thinkers, who are able to take initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Our Adult Programs Division administers California's In-Home Support Services (IHSS) program designed to help California's aged, blind, and disabled citizens remain safely in their homes rather than going to an institutionalized setting. More specifically, as an Analyst on our CMIPS Operations & Development Sectio n Unit team you will help to maintain the Case Management, Information, and Payrolling System (CMIPS) for IHSS.
As an Analyst on our Adult Protective Services Unit team you will facilitate the review and update of state policies and procedures that help elder adults (60 years and older) and dependent adults (18-59) when these adults are unable to meet their own needs, or are victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Working Conditions
This work location is very convenient! The CDSS is located two blocks from the light rail and public transportation: within walking distance to the State Capitol, parks, restaurants, farmer's markets and the Golden 1 Arena. Our building has easy access to I-5, Highway 50 and Highway 80.

    Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are considered limited term, 12 months, and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
