Athenix Special Missions (ASM) is seeking a qualified Ground Combat Element, O-6-level FACAD Instructor at the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group (MCTOG) at Twentynine Palms, CA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Summary:
Athenix Special Missions is seeking a qualified/prior Ground Combat Element, O-6 level FACAD Instructor Development Subject Matter Expert to provide instruction and curriculum development at the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group (MCTOG). The mission of MCTOG is to provide advanced individual and collective training to designated Marine Corps units.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Create needs assessment for professional development programs
- Develop and conduct the faculty/instructor training program for MCTOG
- Teach adult learning methodologies; advise on learning approaches
- Direct and coordinate mentor program and teaching excellence awards
- Plan discipline specific training across the organization
- Develop creative and innovative programs to support institutional objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance
- Master's degree in Instruction, Facilitation, Learning Theory, Training or Training Design
- Certifications in one or more of the following: Master Training Specialist, Master Trainer, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+), relevant Teacher/Trainer certifications
- Must be trained on Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design (MCISD)/Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE) and Risk Management (RM)
- Minimum 5 years experience designing faculty performance evaluation systems and/or strategic planning, organizing, and analyzing professional development
- Prior GCE O-6 level command
- Current on Marine Corps concepts, FD2030, and adult learning methodology
- Commanders view MCDP-1 as foundational to a command philosophy
- Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to command, unit cohesion, will & resiliency
- Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to training
- Practiced in developing training guidance
- Knowledgeable in doctrinal approaches to tactical decision making & planning
- Practiced in modeling a thinking enemy and defeat mechanisms
- Practiced in crafting commanders guidance & intent
- Practiced in commander KSAs for planning and execution
- Knowledgeable in multi-domain environment warfighting challenges
- Knowledgeable in emerging challenges (EMS, CUSA, SIGMAN, OIE)
Clearance: Requires a Secret clearance
Location: Twentynine Palms, CA
Travel: Travel may be required
