Admissions Counselor – Online Education
Description: The Admissions Counselor for Online Education is responsible for providing admissions counseling services to prospective students while offering sound advice and guidance regarding Life University's online programs. The Admissions Counselor for Online Education will also serve as a liaison between the prospective student and the Executive Director of Enrollment Management to ensure all requirements for online degree programs have been met. The Admissions Counselor will professionally represent Life University throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.
Requirements
- Evaluate, review, and analyze prospective student applications and admissions documents for online degree and certificate programs
- Participate in recruitment events and career fairs to promote Life University's online programs
- Maintain current knowledge of academic offerings, admissions requirements, and enrollment trends in Online Education.
- Monitor competitive programs and develop strategies to differentiate Life University's online programs
- Willingness to represent Life University at related conferences
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two years in an account management, admissions, customer service, or operations role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of online recruitment and admissions processes
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
- Experience in online recruitment and admissions processes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with diverse populations
