(Contingent upon available funding): 14.50 - 22.85, Hourly Work Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00, occasional OT, and twice yearly graduate commencement Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Serve as a liaison between the Graduate College and 15-20 academic departments. Perform complex evaluations of domestic and international graduate student applications. Determine the authenticity of transcripts and validity of bachelor's or master's degrees. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of all policies and procedures of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, OSU Graduate Faculty Council and the National Association for Foreign Student Affairs. Promotional opportunities may be available through established career development plan.

Minimum Qualifications: 

High School or GED and 5 years of college admissions experience.  

Years of post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Exhibit a friendly, service-oriented manner with the ability to safeguard privacy and confidentiality regarding information accessible within the office. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree and one year experience in university admissions or student services.
