At British Swim School, we are seeking a dynamic and organized Administrative Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day functioning of our swim school.

- Office Management: Maintain a clean and organized office environment. Order and stock office supplies as needed.
- Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. Answer inquiries, provide information about our programs, and redirect calls as necessary.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage the scheduling of swimming classes, staff shifts, and special events. Coordinate with instructors and other staff to ensure optimal class allocation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student enrollments, attendance, and progress. Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Customer Service: Address customer concerns and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Foster positive relationships with families and community members.
- Responsible of the deck: Organize the deck so that everything is ready before class, blackboard, pool inspection, order of swim materials.
- Financial Administration: Assist with billing, invoicing, and tracking of payments. Prepare financial reports as required.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our swim school through various channels. Assist in the organization of promotional events and campaigns.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the school. Assist in emergency planning and preparedness.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- High school diploma; additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretary will be a plus.
- Passion for working in a child-friendly environment.
Expected hours: 20 per week
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
