As the Administrator in Training, you will:

... complete the 6 months of training that are required for either an HFA (Health Facility Administrator) or an RCA (Residential Care Administrator) by working with one of our Executive Director Preceptors. The Administrator in Training (AIT) is a paid training position that meets the requirements for the Administrator in Training program in Indiana.

What you'll do here:

  • Spend time training in all of the essential functions of an assisted living community as required for completion of the AIT program
  • Work with the Preceptor to ensure compliance with all rules, laws, regulations, policies and procedures within the community
  • Ensure a high degree of resident and team satisfaction at the community
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • You meet the Educational requirements delineated by the IPLA (Indiana Professional Licensing Agency). Those requirements for both an HFA and an RCA license can be found here: http://www.in.gov/pla/2813.htm
  • You have received written approval from the Board at the IPLA to begin an AIT program
  • You have exceptional problem solving and time management skills
  • You can work a full shift, come to work on time and work up to the 10 daily hours allowed in the AIT program as needed
  • You have the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. This is an essential function of this position
  • You care about serving seniors
  • You have strong relationship building skills

Salary Range: $63000 - $70000 , Based on experience.
