Hours Per Day: 4 (Start and end times flexible)
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Administrative Support Assistant - Copy Center is responsible for providing duplicating services for the entire District. Duties include but not limited to operating duplicating equipment; ordering paper for the Copy Center.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides duplicating services for the entire school district.
Programs duplicating equipment in accordance with copy request and client needs.
Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma and no prior experience required; or an equivalent combination of education/experience necessary to perform the work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Employee is continuously required to stand, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel; frequently walks; intermittently reaches with hands and arms, sits, stoops, kneels and/or crouches, talks and hears. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides duplicating services for the entire school district.
Programs duplicating equipment in accordance with copy request and client needs.
- Assures equipment is running properly and troubleshoots error messages and/or deals with vendor, if necessary.
- Receives electronic and hard copy orders from buildings and assures completed jobs are returned within established timelines.
- Records and documents monthly copies generated within the Copy Center.
- Follows District procedures in the preparation of purchase orders for approved District vendors and in accordance with purchasing operational procedures.
Performs other duties of a comparable level or type, as required.
Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma and no prior experience required; or an equivalent combination of education/experience necessary to perform the work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of general maintenance of duplicating equipment, phone systems and general office equipment.
- Fundamentals and basics of district computer systems and software programs relating to the performance of the job.
- Knowledge of district purchasing procedures and processes.
- Knowledge of school practices, policies, and administrative guidelines.
- Basic math skills needed to add, subtract, multiple and divide units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and/or decimals.
- Customer service, business etiquette, and human relation skills in assisting, screening, handling and dealing with informational requests of district staff, vendors, public, and other district personnel.
- Maintaining cooperative working relationships with district employees.
- Maintaining and documenting copy room records in accordance with district policies.
- Ability to learn the operation of new duplicating equipment or other equipment, systems and/or software utilized in the print center.
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
- Following oral and written instructions.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting minor equipment and operational problems.
- Following district procedures in the ordering supplies and materials.
- Prioritizing project needs and meeting project deadlines.
- Oral and written communication skills.
